Founder / Technical Coach
My passion for football began at the age of three, playing with my dad and brother, and I immediately fell in love with the beauty of the game. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of playing for a top J-League academy in Japan, competing at the NCAA Division I level in the United States, and being selected to represent my country’s youth national team.
At the age of 23, after competing in NCAA Division 1, I decided to step away from playing and shift my focus to a different path. This decision led to the creation of Joga Bonito, where I strive to share my passion and expertise with the next generation of players.
About Zach
Technical Coach / Performance Coach
Born and raised in Utah, I have competed at the highest levels of soccer in the state and currently play Division 1 soccer. From the beginning, developing strong technical ability has been at the core of my game. While Utah has plenty of talent, one area often overlooked is the coaching and development of technical skills. My coaching philosophy is rooted in technical excellence, while also emphasizing the importance of mindset, confidence, and guidance in the college recruiting process. My mission is to guide and support as many young players as possible, helping them unlock their full potential both on and off the field.
